Maintaining this goal is our top priority. Therefore, by entering a team in our tournament , you agree to adhere to ALL tournament rules and regulations, to be respectful of all other participating teams, guests, tournament staff, and officials, and refrain from fighting, swearing, rude, and/or violent behavior, on and off the field. Disrespectful behavior WILL NOT be tolerated and any player or players found guilty of participating in these actions will be immediately dismissed from the Festival Site. Players found guilty of causing property and/or bodily damage will be reported to the Vancouver Police Department. Please note that a professional security firm manages the VISF site and will be actively ensuring that all VISF Regulations are adhered to.

2011 VISF BASIC TERMS & CONDITIONS
- 1. The VISF is a World Cup Style, Grassroots, seven-a-side soccer tournament.
- 2. Teams are entered under the banner of a National Soccer Team. Teams may represent their Home Nation or their favorite National Team.
- 3. There are three divisions at the 2011 VISF: Men's Open, Women's Open and Co-ed Open. The skill level in each division ranges from moderate to advanced.
- 4. Registration is open for adult amateur teams from Canada and the USA. Participation for teams from outside of Canada and the USA is BY INVITATION ONLY. Please note that International Teams are invited through VISF Official Partners and Affiliates. Homeless soccer teams, First Nation teams, and multi ethnic X patriots teams are encouraged to enter a team.
- 5. Each team is guaranteed a minimum of three games.
- 6. Each team can have a maximum of 14 players on their team roster.
- 7. Tournament fields are approximately half the size of a regular soccer field.
- 8. Registration is conducted on a first come, first served basis. Written confirmation will be mailed to team captains once team registration forms and fees have been received and accepted.
- 9. Entry Fees for all 2011 VISF Teams are $350.00 CDN. Uniform Fees for all 2011 VISF Teams are an additional $250.00 CDN. All fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. To keep up with our world cup style tournament, theme, ALL teams MUST purchase and wear the 2011 VISF uniforms.
- 10. Final rosters and signed Festival Waivers must be submitted at the tournament site at least one hour prior to your team's first game.
- 11. Team Leaders: You must agree to attend pre-tournament Captain's and Official's Meetings. Two meetings will be held prior to the tournament. These meetings are compulsory – a team representative MUST be in attendance.
